LA Recap: DIY Fun in the Cali Sun
Posted on October 28 2016
We're back home in our studio in Brooklyn, thinking about our time spent in sunny Los Angeles. We hosted a facial steam workshop at Flowerboy Project, showcased our goods at Capsule Show, and created custom facial masks at Au Fudge. We wish we could've stayed longer, but no doubt we'll be back. If you missed out, check out our recap and keep in touch so we can let you know about future events!
FACIAL STEAM WORKSHOP AT FLOWERBOY
For our first event, we teamed up with Flowerboy Project for a DIY Facial Steam Workshop in Venice, CA. Flowerboy Project is home to the dreamiest coffee and flower shop and made for a perfect venue for this fun event. Led by Mullein & Sparrow founder and Ayurveda expert Anit Hora, guests learned all about our natural ingredients and their benefits and customized facial steams for their skin type.
FACIAL MASK WORKSHOP AT AU FUDGE
Next up, we made our way to West Hollywood where we set up shop at this trendy kid-friendly restaurant and creative space, Au Fudge. Kids and moms alike joined us for a DIY Facial Mask Workshop led by Anit. We highly recommend their Churro Sliders.
We also got to hang out at one of our favorite events, the Capsule Trade Show. We absolutely love attending Capsule and being around such creative, like-minded brands. Plus, we don't mind getting to show off all our newest goods, like our new vegan candles.
Needless to say, this won't be our last trip to LA.
